History:
Mia Star comes from two pureblood parents and has a younger brother who is 7 years old and also a pureblood. They are kind people but don’t know much about muggles honestly and keep to themselves. Her parents names are Penny and Ken, with her brother Desmond. All Star. And herself Mia Star.
Mia Star loves her family and friends at home. She wants to love going to a new school but she’s had it pretty good at home being semi homeschooled with her brother and getting tons of attention. Now she’s at a new large school and it is fun but she will definitely be homesick.
Her first instance of magic, she was a bit of a late bloomer, was when her tutor at home gave her a ‘bad’ mark and the parchment she had written on set on fire! Instead of being mad her parents were ecstatic that she’d finally done some magic. Her brother had already had his accidental magic as an early bloomer so Mia was quite happy too to learn she’d be going to magic school soon enough.
Mia loved to play fantasy games and act in ‘plays’ with her friends. She loved learning but also having fun. When her family bought her a play broom she struggled to get her feet off the ground while her brother zoomed around the house on his. Mia felt a bit behind but determined to do the best she could. And her brother was hard to dislike if not a little hyperactive.
She loved to mosey up to a good book and have a paper and quill at hand to write her notes and stories down. She had a long list of things she wanted for the world and a bucket list of ideas she wanted to invent or places she wanted to see.
All around she was a inquisitive, fun, young girl who aspired to become someone special at Hogwarts school of magic!

Mia Star sat at in the hallway smelling the sweet honeycakes. As she went to grab one, or maybe a third one, but who’s counting? Sandra Cane came running her way.
Sandra Cane she looked insane, frazzled by the morning. Or rather…
“Mia, Mia! You won’t believe, you can’t believe, you’ve gotta believe me!” Mia stared at her ‘friend’ Sandra and quickly grabbed one more honeycake before turning to her.
“MmmHmm?” Mia couldn’t talk with her mouth full but Sandra quickly went on.
“I can’t get detention gain! It’s the 10th detention Mia! You gotta help me! You gotta take the fall!”
Mia choked a bit on her food, quickly swallowing some milk down Mia finally got out a few garbled words.
“No.. not the best idea.” Mia tried to stand her ground.
“C’mon you’re soooo well-liked, calm, collected. No one will question you with you’re good demeanor, and you’re well-behavior, and you’re -” Sandra gushed until Mia interrupted.
Mia said, “Ok ok, I get the picture. So what now? What’s been done?”
Sandra riled herself up. “Oh that awful Professor! I can’t get into it but I had to, just had to get a friend of a friends stuff back, and I snuck in and got it. But he won’t know it’s me, trust me.”
Mia did not trust her but she couldn’t help but wonder how she could keep helping all these ‘friends of friends’ and getting herself put into trouble. It was a bit heartbreaking really.
“Ok just this once. Where’s the item?”
“You’ll see!” And suddenly Sandra ran off.
See what? But then a round of bowtruckles came flying through the hall and towards all of them!
What had she gotten herself into this time Mia thought…
A angry looking professor was following the bunch of Bowtruckles and telling them they couldn’t be near the fairie eggs in the castle and this wasn’t the right place for this all. And they’d not to have been let out before a fair warning and relocation and who put them up to this?
“I did! I didn’t know the ruckus I- I’m sorry.” Mia Star announced to the professor quietly.
“Hmmm indeed. I’ll see who put you up to this Mia, but for now DETENTION!”
And off she stomped. Sandra slipped by, giving Mia some chocolate frogs and some fudge. I guess they were friends now.
